The Common University Entrance Test, previously named Central Universities Common Entrance Test, is a test conducted all over India by a National Testing Agency for admission to certified courses like undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and programs involving research in several Central Universities of India. It is also accepted at universities granted accreditation by the Department of Higher Education.
The pattern followed by CUET Exam
As more and more students enroll for these exams, CUET 2022 has already generated enough noise. The attention drawn by CUET is huge. It is expected to surpass its several previous editions.
The CUET 2023 plans to uphold the exams twice a year. It will hold exams in CBT and two shifts, which comprise two slots, the morning and evening. Depending on a particular subject, the exam would be held in three hours, fifteen minutes, and 3 hours, forty-five minutes, respectively.

CUET Eligibility Criteria
- Students should have graduated class 12 from a recognized board in the Scientific stream to take admission to undergraduate courses.
- For the general category, the candidate must score a minimum of 50 percent, whereas SC/ST requires 45 percent to be eligible for examination.
Things to keep in mind while filling the form
The following things are important to remember:
- Candidates possess the limit to apply for up to three participating central universities only. If he wants to apply to more than three, he has to pay the application fee again.
- Unless and until examination fees are cleared, exam authorities will not accept the application form.
- On successful application and fee submission, the candidate receives an email or SMS on his registered phone number.

CUET 2023 Question Paper
Because CUET is computer-based, candidates will not be able to obtain CUET question papers on the day of the exam. However, the NTA will publicize the question papers and answer keys on its official website. The CUET question papers will contain 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
