Such degree or passing proof should be approved either by the state legislature or by an act of parliament. Shortlisted candidates will go for the next round namely the Mains round. They need to secure a position on the merit list. On successful completion of IAS mains, candidates will undergo training in LBSNAA.
- LBSNAA Training – The full form of LBSNAA is Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, which is situated in Mussoorie, India. After competing for the national level exam, candidates will undergo 21 to 26 weeks of training at this centre. The main purpose of this institute is to train candidates to tackle real-life situations. All methods used in LBSNAA are constructed for the Central Services recruits and All India Service. It plays a vital role in preparing candidates for the IAS position. Here candidates are equipped with skills, training and ability.
