We all know that the population of the world is increasing with every passing day and this is creating a lot of stress on the natural resources. The problem with increasing population is also faced by the people because of the shortage of natural resources and in addition to this, the increasing population has also created issues like unemployment.
List of 10 most populated cities was published recently after a survey and in this article, we have attached the list with a little information about these most crowded cities of the world.
10) Jakarta, Indonesia
Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia and it has a population density of 9600 people per square Kilometer. The city is an important port for the Kingdom of Sudan and the city has experienced a rapid growth in recent years. The city was established in the fourth century and it always served as one of the important trade routes. Jakarta had been the capital of country since Indonesia got its independence in 1945.
9) Singapore
Singapore is a financial hub and it is also referred to as Lion City. The city has a population density of 10200people per square Kilometer. It should be noted that the Singapore is also one of the most expensive cities in the world. Singapore was once ruled by Japan and later it secured its independence from the United Kingdom in 1963 and later in 1965, it became a sovereign nation. The country is not rich in natural resources but it has a qualified workforce.
8) Abuja, Nigeria
Abuja is the capital of Nigeria and it has a population density of 10800people per square Kilometer. The city was built in 1980 and prior to this, Lagos was the capital of Nigeria. Later in 1991, Abuja was finally declared as the capital of Nigeria. As per on of the estimates, the city grew by over 139% between 2000 to 2010. Even today, the annual growth rate of the city is estimated to be around 35%

Kota is a city in Rajasthan in India and this city is basically a hub for education. The city has a population density of 12100people per square Kilometer and one of the reasons for such a high density is that a lot of students live here who come here to prepare for national exams like JEE as the city is a home of some of the best institutes of the Country. It is also known that Kota is included in Smart City Mission which was initiated by the Prime Minister of India in 2015

Today, the city has two main areas, one of them is known as Island and the other one is known as Mainland.

This is one of the main port of Morocco and it is also the largest financial center in Morocco. Some of the best Moroccan companies have their headquarters situated in Casablanca and in recent year, the city has experienced high industrial growth. In addition to this, it is also an important naval base for Royal Moroccan Navy

Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh and it has a population density of 44500people per square Kilometer. The city has a total population of 17 million and earlier, Dhaka was a part of East Pakistan but later in 1971, Bangladesh got independence and hence Dhaka became the capital of this new country.
