10. J&K Legislative Assembly Attack
The militants,those who are belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed carried out an attack on the Jammu and Kashmir State Legislative Assembly complex in Srinagar uses a car bomb and three Fidayeen suicide bombers. 38 people and three Fiyadin were killed in this attack.
9. Coimbatore Bombings
Islamist Fundamentalist group Al Ummah did a series of 12 Bomb blasts on 14 February, 1998 at 11 different locations in Coimbatore. The target of this attack was BJP leader L K Advani, who was in Coimbatore for election rally. Hindu dominated areas were targeted and most of the victims were Hindu. The terrorists wanted to cause a communal disrupt. 200 people were injured and 60 people lost their lives.
8. Indian Parliament attack
This took place on 13 December 2001 when 5 terrorists from Lashkar-E-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad group attacked on the pride of the country Indian parliament. The terrorists were killed before they entered the main building but it was a shame that terrorists were able to breach the security of Indian parliament. The battle went on for hours and five militants were killed. Top politicians could have been targeted if 6 policemen and 3 parliament employees wouldn’t have risked their lives.
7. Assam Bombings
The bombings took place on 30th October, 2008 in Guwahati, Assam. It was one of the most damaging attacks that took place in India. There were 18 bomb blasts in various parts of the city and caused fatal casualties and civilian loss. Barpeta Road, Bongaigaon and Kokrajhar were the area’s most affected. National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) was thought to be behind these attacks. 81 people died and 470 were injured.
6. Jaipur blasts
Jaipur was hit by nine serial blasts that took place in 15 mins on 13 May, 2008. Tenth bomb was disarmed as the authorities found it. This attack puts the Jaipur on the terror map. Police reported that a lot of the terrorist organization was involved in this attack, including Lashkar E Taieba, Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islamic among others. The bomb blasts happened at six various locations including:
- Bari Choupar
- Tripolia Bazar
- Manak Chowk Police Station Area
- Choti Choupar
- Johari Bazar
- Kotwali Area
63 people died and 210 people were injured.
5. Mumbai Train Blasts
On the fateful day of 11th July, 2006 seven bomb blasts happened in local trains of Mumbai. The bombs were planted in the first class bogies inside pressure cookers. Indian Mujahedeen, a terror outfit was thought to be the mastermind. The bomb exploded at the following stations:-
- Matunga Road
- Jogeshwari
- Mahim
- Bhayandar
- Bandra
- Borivali
- Khar Road
The blast took 210 lives and around 715 people were injured in the blast.
4. Delhi serial bomb blast
Three bomb blasts rocked Delhi few days prior to Diwali on 29th October, 2005.The Islamic revolutionary front, a Pakistani terrorist organization conducted the blasts. The blasts took place at Sarojini Nagar and Paharganj. The third blast took place on a bus in Govind puri. Much damage took place in the markets due to Dhanteras season. 63 people passed away and 210 people were injured in the attacks.
3. Akshardham temple attack
Akshardham temple in Ahmedabad was attacked on 24th September, 2002 by Ashraf Ali Mohammed Farooq and Murtaza Hafiz Yasin. They were members of Jaise-e- Mohammed and Lashkar-e- Taieba. They entered the temple at around 3 pm with the weapons such as hand grenades and automatic weapons. They started firing gunshots and were killed by the NSG commandos finally. Their letter said it was a retribution for Gujarat riots in 2002. 80 people were injured and 31 people lost their lives.
2. Mumbai serial bomb blast
Mumbai has always been target of terrorists and unethical elements. On 12th march, 1993 a series of bomb blasts took place in the Bollywood capital. Dawood Ibrahim, D company head is believed to be the mastermind of Mumbai bomb blast. Bomb blast took place at:

1. 26/11 Terror Attack

On the 26th November, the terrorist entered India through sea and went on a killing spree. Gunfire and bomb blasts were a part of the massacre. The terrorists took hostage important places such as hotel Taj, Nariman house and hotel Oberoi trident.
