Step 1: Visit the official website of “Election commission of India” or click here instead http://eci.nic.in/eci/eci.html
Step 2: On the Home screen of the Election Commission of India website, you can find several options arranged left-hand side and right-hand side. On the right-hand side, you will find an option that says “National Voters Service Portal” the same will be written in Hindi too. Select this option or instead click here http://www.nvsp.in/
Step 3: Now, a new tab opens up with a big bold heading “National Voter’s Services Portal” and below that, you will find a total of 6 options arranged in 2 rows. Step 4: A new page appears now with a heading “Form 6” and a fill-up form below it. You will notice that the entire form is in Hindi, if you are fine with filling in the form in this medium you can do it in Hindi, or if you want to change the language, above the heading “Form 6” the page provides you an option to change the language. Step 5: Now, You can start filling in the form. PS: all the fields marked with an asterisk (*) needed to be filled mandatory. If you skip any asterisk marked fields, the server will not accept the form.

Step 10:Once, you have completed the uploading procedure, fill up the declaration form below as requested and click “Submit” button.
Step 11: Now, the server/ the host will send an email to the email id provided on the form. This email will have the link to your personal voter ID page that will help you to track the status of your application. At the same time,registrations ID/reference ID will appear on the screen that can be used to track the status.
It usually takes a month for the Voters ID to be generated and delivered to the address. Meanwhile, the applicant can track the status of the application through the link sent to the email ID or with the reference ID received at the end of the application procedure.
